This was a live podcast episode where we talked about some concerns Filipino PTs encounter when migrating and working here in the US. This conversation started back in CSM last February in San Antonio, Texas and we just thought of sharing it with everyone. You'll hear different stories of struggles and challenges as internationally educated and trained physical therapists when we all started our careers here. We discussed working in the US and adjusting to the new practice, lacking confidence in treating patients and learning how to interact with coworkers and patients. We also answered questions from viewers regarding advice for incoming PT interns and specializing in a specific field. The guests were Ben Aguila, PT, DPT, Maria Consie Aguila, PT, DPT, Mark David Basco, PT, DPT, GCS, OCS, Fretche Garcia Blair, PT, CEEAA, and Emmanuel Malabanan, PT, DPT, GCS.
