Welcome back to the 2nd part of my conversation with Eleazar Tayag, PT,DPT, MPH, owner of home health and hospice agencies. In this episode, he'll describe what a typical day a home health PT looks like. He also mentions things to learn before going into the home health practice. He enumerates important lessons he learned from working in home health and having his own home health business. He earned his bachelor's degree in Physical therapy from the Lyceum-Northwestern University, his Master's degree in Public health from the Univeristy of the Philippines Manila, and his Doctorate in Physical Therapy with a Diploma in Geriatric Rehabilitation from EIM Institure of Health Professions. He is a board-certified clinical specialist in Orthopedic and Geriatric Physical therapy. He owns, along with his wife and some partners, 2 home health agencies, a hospice agency, and a home health rehab company. His areas of interest include Dementia, Parkinson's disease, Home Health, Geriatrics, Vestibular Rehab, Orthopedics, and Healthcare Entrepreneurship among others.
