Lucylynn Lizarondo, PhD is a research fellow in JBI, at The University of Adelaide. Dr. Lizarondo's work involves developing tools and strategies to facilitate evidence implementation, mentoring clinicians to develop and evaluate studies to facilitate research uptake, and conduct systematic reviews. Her research is focused on evidence synthesis, evidence transfer and evidence implementation

In our chat, we discussed what a research fellow does, why it's important for clinicians and researchers to collaborate in developing researches. We also identified some barriers why it's difficult to translate evidence into practice and some facilitators on evidence uptake. She also shared her motivation for being a researcher and her advice to future researchers in physical therapy. Come take a listen!
