Lance Frank, PT, DPT, MPH is the owner of Flex PT ATL in Atlanta, Georgia. Dr. Frank, earned his Doctorate in PT from Emory University and his Master’s degree in Public Health from the University of Missouri. He received his training in pelvic floor from Herman & Wallace, Alcove Education and Pelvic Guru. He treats all gender with pelvic floor dysfunction, including incontinence, sexual health concerns, pelvic pain, constipation and LGBTQ+ related issues.

So we talked about how he started his practice especially in pelvic health, common conditions he sees in his patients. We also discussed the niche of pelvic health practice with a male practitioner. I asked him his thoughts about pelvic health PTs choosing / refusing to see patient of a certain anatomy. He shared some tips for men on what to look for in case they need to see a pelvic floor PT. And lastly share some pieces of advice to male physical therapists thinking about getting into pelvic health.
